Meet Amie Olson & Family
Women Life Connected is proud to spotlight it’s member Amie Olson. Amie is a designer by trade, health coach by passion and mom by miracle. Over the past 15 years, Amie has been dedicated in helping others grow their business, think outside of the box, and give them the drive and energy they need to succeed. She believes that anyone can do anything if they set their minds to it and loves to challenge clients, family and friends.
My name is Amie Olson. My passion for Health & Wellness started in my teenage years when I started to take athletics seriously and wanted to compete. I realized through painful experiences, that what I ate hindered my performance, my gut, and also my mood. Fast forward to today, I am still passionate about learning and have worked with and learned from amazing teachers from my School, Chiropractors, MD's, Dentists, Herbalists, Acupuncturists, Endocrinologists, Personal Trainers, Natural Food Store Owners...if you have natural health information to share, I am listening!
We all have our own stories and in my late 20's I battled unexplained infertility. If I knew what I know today, I would go back and never buy fat-free and low-fat foods, would be careful about the chemicals and agents that I was exposed to, paint that I chipped away and repainted in my college houses, an amalgam filling that I received at the dentist, perfumes and candles that I used because they smelled good, plastic bottles & plastic containers that I would microwave, chemicals that I would clean with, and managing stress before I would get burnt out. The list goes and on. I know I can't go back and make those changes but what I can do is educate my clients, community and friends to make smart decisions starting TODAY.
Luckily our bodies can naturally heal itself, once we find and remove the interference. So, yes, their is hope for me as well as hope for everyone out there who has either a health problem or just a goal that they want to reach. Sometimes it is a few simple changes that will reap life changing rewards. If you are batteling infertility and want to learn more about our experience with natural remedies, testing, and even the medical route of iui's, ivf, etc... please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I enjoy helping others and being ears to everything you are going through. I understand. It may have taken us longer (8 years) to have our family but God put us on the inferility journey for a reason, to help others. We are blessed today with our sons Owen and Liam.
As a graduate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition I was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, I help others create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.

Staying healthy from season to season is an ongoing concern with each season bringing it's own challenges. Our activity levels change as the days shorten and the temperatures plunge. Why not have a plan? Limit those comfort foods, keep your skin protected, stay active and get outdoors on a regular basis. All good advice to keep in mind.
But, one thing trumps them all. You need to consciously keep drinking plenty of mineral rich water. I drink 64 ounces a day. If I don't, my body let's me know with fatigue, hunger, dry skin, foggy thinking, aches and pains and even headaches. Just because it's not hot out doesn't mean you don't require water to hydrate. Every cell in your body needs H20 and minerals to operate efficiently. You can be dehydrated in cooler temperatures just like hot weather.
